Free in-home water test
Get a clearer picture of what you are noticing with your home’s water, then explore the categories that may fit.
A low-pressure way to start.
The conversation can help you discuss hardness, taste or odor questions, scale or residue, and potential treatment paths. It is not a substitute for certified laboratory testing or an individual faucet diagnosis.
- Understand visible hardness and scale observations
- Review taste or odor questions
- Explore vendor-neutral treatment categories
- Ask questions without pressure
A few useful expectations.
What does a free in-home water test cover?
The complimentary consultation is designed to help you discuss visible concerns such as hardness, scale, taste, odor, and treatment options. It is not represented as certified laboratory testing or a diagnosis of every potential contaminant.
Does a water softener filter water?
Not necessarily. Traditional softening primarily addresses hardness minerals through ion exchange. Filtration and softening solve different types of questions, so many homes evaluate more than one category.
Can a ZIP code tell me exactly what is in my faucet?
No. ZIP guidance can point you to water-system information and relevant public reports, but it cannot establish the exact conditions at an individual faucet. Service areas, plumbing, and household use can all differ.
Do I have to buy anything after the consultation?
No. The goal is to help you understand the options that may make sense for your home so that you can decide what, if anything, you want to do next.
Who performs installation if it is needed?
Perfect Home Water is not representing itself as a licensed California contractor. When contractor licensing is required, installation services are performed by appropriately qualified independent service providers and/or licensed contractors.
